An interesting change to our Easter Eggs this year. Instead of our local pubs supporting Lions by selling Easter Egg Tickets in our Grand Easter Egg Raffle, the Easter Bunny has arrived and it is now a GRAND EASTER BUNNY RAFFLE.
But yes it's the same deal - £1 per ticket - a limited number of tickets per pub and all profits go to your local Lions good causes.
Good causes, like for example, the parcels we give to local folk at Xmas and Easter - your donation helps and of course you have the chance to win a GIANT EASTER BUNNY. Here he is on the right! Or is it a ‘she'. I'm not from around these parts so; I've never learned the art of telling the gender of chocolate rabbits.      What ever it is, look out for them in local supporting pubs and have a go. Paulton's Park? YES WE ARE!!!

Yes, Spring is here and as well as seeing some Easter Bunnies it's also that time of year when we Lions are busy planning our annual trip to Paulton's Park on Sunday the 17th May.
We have a big 56 seater coach booked, and, like previous years we expect to fill it with single parents and their children as well as a few families who are down on their luck and are looking to have a fun day out with the Lions.
What's it all about? Well around this time each year, Lions clubs, with their special guests, from all over the South of England descend on Paulton's by the coach loads to have a great day out. The Staff at Paulton's Park are pleased to see big crowds coming in very early in the season. The Lions are please to be able to help out by organising the whole thing and the children ...... well, the children do what children always do, they just want to be there, they want to go on EVERY ride and they have no idea that apart from us asking adults to pay just £5 towards the coach travel everything else is FREE.   Interested?         A treat for the kids?

OK - so if you want to come and think you're eligible (you may have been before, are a single parent or are down on your luck, but really want to take to kids out) then give us a call on the Lions phone and leave your name and number and a Lion will get back to you.  
It's an all day outing and coach pick up points will be in Hartley Wintney at the A30 bus stop on the village green, in Odiham opposite The George and then in Hook opposite the White Hart near the petrol stations.
