The Lions Community Store is operated by a team of unpaid volunteers. Their aim is to give a kick-start to families and individuals in most need and to help them rebuild their lives, their confidence and their self-esteem. 

Their clients are all referred by other organisations which help the underprivileged, the elderly and disabled, if you feel anyone you know needs the help of the community store, please approach one of the Lions clubs in the North East Hampshire area first.

Every month they receive over 100 requests for household items, bedding and clothing, which are generously donated by members of our community.

Their teams (which include several youngsters from local hostels) work so hard every week day, but to continue this vital project they do need to raise funds and your help is really needed.

Since 1995 they have helped 6000 families - redistributed 3500 beds, 1000 tables and chest-drawers, 3000 chairs, 3000 bales of bedding and 3000 bags of clothing.

They always need more furniture, bedding and clothes and 'White goods' in particular. If you have any items and live in the Hart DC area , they will collect them from you at a time to suit you. Please call them today.
